I am trying to get Math.NET Numerics for F#. It seems like the only way to do it is to install the NuGet Package Manager Console.

However, after downloading NuGet, I try to click on nuget.exe, and I get the message:

You can’t open the application “nuget.exe” because Microsoft Windows applications are not supported on OS X.

Is there any way to get NuGet to work on a Mac?

I am using Visual studio for mac. I need to install some packages but I can't find package manager console for that.

Similar to Xamarin Studio, you have to use its dialog,

As there was no cross platform PowerShell, Xamarin Studio lacks of Package Manager Console. It might come one day in Visual Studio for Mac. We will see.

At least in Visual Studio Community 7.8.1 build 4, you can find it under Visual Studio-->Extensions, using search term 'nuget':
